Sparklers for wheels??
Hello -
Used the button to extend speedbrakes. Flaps went down instead (everything worked fine just before)...and got phantom sparklers where wheels would normally be when extended - even though the gear were up. When I extended the gear, the sparklers still stayed superimposed on the now extended wheels. Oh yeah and the burners stay lit and cannot be turned off, and the flaps cannot be retracted - nor can the speedbrakes. Anybody else have this??

Re: Sparklers for wheels??
Hi,
The flaps cannot be extended with the speedbrake toggle event unless the axis/event be externally intercepted (Fsuipc re-assigned?). You should use sim default commands for those events.
The sparkles and afterburners are visible because that smoke effect or the whole smoke system is enabled.
The T38A ADV is not compatible with the smoke system as it is used for different animation purposes. (*)
(*) edit: the addition of this feature will be considered for a future patch.
