I was prompted to update the F-100 today and after the download I got the error dialog first, I selected abort. Then it shows it couldn't write something in the update dialog. Interested to hear what's wrong.

Usually means that MVAMS was running on the background.
Please open your windows task manager, locate MVAMS.exe and 'end task'.
There may be more than one instance running - so keep on closing them until none remain - then it should be safe to make the install.

Thanks Osin, that did the trick. DIdn't realize there was another instance running.
