Green cockpit

I own the F-100 which worked nearly perfectly on my Windows 7 computer. I upgraded to a new Windows 10 gaming computer in January and can't get the F-100 working correctly.
I have the green cockpit issue which I've seen the other posts about. I also have no pilot, and (as with my last computer) I have no control stick movement animation.
I turned off antivirus for the download and install of the aircraft.
I've tried turning the cockpit light control on and off as mentioned in the other posts.
I'm administrator and permissions look ok in the properties menus.
I've tried removal and reinstall of the aircraft and that didn't change anything.
This is my only Milviz aircraft. I own other payware aircraft (also using Simconnect) and have a few freeware and have no issues with others. Other add ons include Ultimate Traffic Live, Orbx Scenery and Active Sky, if any of that matters. I'm on Windows 10 and using FSX Steam. I'm only really worried about the green cockpit but fixing the other issues would be nice. Thanks in advance for any help!

Can you check the 'properties' of the .dll and .gau files in the F100D panel folder and see if they are 'blocked'. That would bad and they need to be manually unblocked. This usually only occurs when you manually copy/paste a dll onto your system, but worth a look.

Thank you for the reply.
I just checked each file and none show blocked.

Did you run the installer as admin?

Yes, I made sure of it when reinstalling this last time when trying to troubleshoot.

Verify that dll exists in your MVAMS folder (right click on the MVAMS shortcut and open file location)

I found something significant in the event logs. This afternoon I ran the F-100 uninstaller, manually deleted MVAMS, then ran CCleaner. I did a reinstall with antivirus turned off and the problems are all still present. I found this in the event logs that happened during the installation:
XMLTools_201 Installer.exe
1.0.0.0
55f75355
KERNELBASE.dll
10.0.18362.719

C:\windows\System32\KERNELBASE.dll

And:
Application: XMLTools_201 Installer.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. There were no error events logged when I tried to fly the plane after install.

Hmm..not sure that is involved in the F-100. Do you have another Milviz aircraft?
Please try right clicking on that Unmanaged Functions.dll and select properties and see if there is an unblock button.

This is the only Milviz aircraft that I have.
I just double checked the unmanaged functions dll and it doesn't show blocked.
I ran the installer again today and got the same errors in event viewer while the installer is running.

Try putting this in your main sim folder and running it.
Also, verify that both your Steam app, and the FSX SE app are set to run as admin.

Thanks Jonathan.
I do have MVAMS and Steam set to always run as admin.
I downloaded and pasted this XML installer into my FSX folder and tried to run it as admin. I get no indication that anything is actually happening, but I don't know if I'm actually supposed to see anything.
After trying to run it a couple times I loaded the sim and F-100 and the problems are still there. I tried to send loadout to sim and got the same error as before.
Edit:
Event viewer shows these entries after trying to run the installer this morning.

That sounds like your SimConnect is missing.
Go to your FSX directory\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces\FSX-XPACK and run the SimConnect.msi lcoated there.
