Newly purchased Beaver - very happy with it in all areas apart from water takeoffs.

All ops from land appear to be excellent, but no matter what I try, it struggles to achieve sufficient speed on water to lift off. Rudders are up, tried with and without flaps .... all to no avail. It barely achieves 20 knots, and appears stuck to the water.

I must be doing something wrong, or something is amiss. Bought the plane from Orbx, so I assume the download I was directed to was the latest.

Would appreciate any assistance ....and thank you in advance

Hi G-Tom,

First thing is to check your weights. Try with less load.
Then try to go on one float when you are on the step.
More wind helps a lot too.
You can try a few FDE, that have been posted on those forums as well.
