You removed any non-numerically named textures from their folders too?
What does the error say?

Hi guys,

Have you been able to resolve this error? I have just purchased the Turbo Otter and got this error. There is absolutely no _ named texture file anywhere in the aircraft's reallight folder.

Thanks,
Marc

Edit:
Oups, I didn't notice this thread has 6 pages... I'll read through them...

Edit 2:
deleting the non numeral named files prevented the error to show.

Have read all six pages of posts on this and I still have the problem. Seriously, can it be fixed? If not, can Real Light be uninstalled? Thats the solution I would like to use.

can Real Light be uninstalled? Thats the solution I would like to use. Why can't you fix your own software??? If it's not your software then why can't the supplier fix it??

Reallight was updated.
The developer considers the update an improvement (and so do we).
Regretfully the update is not backwards compatible.
Luckily the problem is easily fixed - you have said that you have read six pages of posts; can you confirm you have taken the steps outlined?

You can disable Reallight but in doing so your nightlighting would go with it.

"You can disable Reallight but in doing so your nightlighting would go with it." Then how do I do that? I believe I have asked that several times before.
When you say it will disable my night lighting for just the Otter or my sim in general.

Yes, I tried all those things and nothing worked and am not planning on doing it again.. I am a simmer, not a programmer and if software I purchase does not work I fully expect the seller to fix it. Enough said.

I am totally frustrated with this so PLEASE, tell me how to get rid of this without f''n up my flight sim.

First can you tell me what product you are referring to - is it the Beaver or Otter or both?

I am not a programmer but can probably prepare folders for you to drop in that will solve your problem.

On January 30th, you wrote:

I responded that the problem was with the Otter and thanked you for this step forward. Should I expect to receive the folders some time soon?

Yes, thank you. The texture file you sent worked. Appreciate your help.
Now, if only there was something that could be done regarding the flaps not extending incrementally as noted in my othe post!

OK Osh,

Went to the Otter forum, read all six pages of Real Light complaints, and not at all happy! This has been an issue for sometime, and Real Light and Milviz have still not fixed the issue.

I purchased this AC not aware of the existing issue, and now your support staff expects me to go through files and edit them? I'm not going to go through that process. It's the job of Real Light And Milviz to fix the issue, not me! It was not my intention to purchase a faulty/ broken product from Milviz!

Milviz continues to sell knowing of the DHC-3T Turbo Otter issue. The brings up the question of ethics!

I am going to uninstall the DHC-3T Turbo Otter otter immediately after sending this email to you and to Just Flight.

I am requesting a REFUND from Milviz and Just Flight Simulations. Milviz can be assured that non of there products will be installed on any simulator I flight!

Responding to the support ticket I opened yesterday, Just Flight just sent me a notice of refund to my PayPal account, before receiving this email.
