Poor Instrument Lighting

Post by ray.jennings707 » Tue Oct 11, 2022 10:32 pm

Loved the plane in P3D and even more so in MSFS! Without a doubt, it is the best GA twin available and all developers are going to have to work extra hard to top it - if they can!
I do have a problem though, or at least I think I have. I was flying today, for the first time, in clear skys and unless I zoom in, I cannot easily read my instrument panel. With bright light shining on it, the whole thing just becomes different shades of grey. I counted at least 50! Despite having all the rheostats turned to full, it was pretty dire. The backlight illumination is virtually non-existent and the actual panel lights are the feeblest glow of 1 candle-power!
Other aircraft in my hangar have very good panel and instrument lighting and to be honest, I don't want to have to use the Seneca V if I want to fly in clear skies.
Is there something I've missed?
Thanks.
