warning lights/alarm on landing PC-6

I'm using version 1.1.4 of the PC-6 Porter. On landing I get an annunciator light about aux fuel pump and both red and yellow lights with audible alarm. Is this somehow related to landing on grass fields where it's a bit bumpy?

I just tried a flight to replicate this. The aux pump light is only on if you have the pump on. The only time I had warning lights was when I overstressed the engine and had chip detect or damaged it. It's possible something got damaged in a hard landing? Try turning off crashes and damage to see if you can repeat this.

I'm pretty sure damage is off completely in MSFS. I'll try it again tomorrow and see if there is a difference between farm fields and paved runway landings. It doesn't affect the aircraft's performance in any way I can detect.

Strange. I tried like 5 landings. 1 on a paved runway, the other 4 with just tundra tires and landed on a mountain. The only damage I had was self inflicted. I believe that our engine damage model ignores the sim damage settings so it still may be something to do with that.

One user of the aircraft in MSFS had this to say:
" it's just pitch trim outside green range on the ground ...
hold trim nose up on ground, it starts whining when you exceed green range and stops when you get back in green range, that's it "

Whether one should get red lights and alarms during landing rollout because you had trim set the way you like it for landing is the question.

I think I need to revisit my use of pitch trim on landings and make sure it's in the green, which may also give me more effective pitch control with the stick during flares ( it seems to run out of nose up capability with the stick, which I was attributing to low speed with power at idle) Maybe map a key to return trim to a proper setting below 300 feet on final.

Keeping elevator trim more neutral or even nose down 15 degrees worked better with no Porter alarms during rollout.
