Re: FG-ID 4-8 fps..
Has anyone found a fix for this I just bought the corsair and it is the only aircraft that will not go above 8fps and if you hit A until the cockpit disappears the FPS will go up to 30.

What version of P3D do you have?
What version of Windows are you using?
What video card are you running?

Re: FG-ID 4-8 fps..
it bit complicated stuff what the cause.
it depend on:
1. hardware you have
2. add on that running in your sim (scenery, AI traffic)
3. setup of your sim setting.
4. any windows setting.
FG-1D have very high detail model and texture, low end hardware system is not enough to handle this aircraft.
this my experience:
1. in my laptop (asus N56VJ) with win 7, i7 2nd gen, Nvidia GT650M, 8Gb RAM, and 1TB HDD. only get FPS like yours, it get 8-12 fps in P3D v4.5 with low setting.
2. in my custom build PC with win 10, i9 9900K, Nvidia RTX2070, 32Gb RAM, 500 TB SSD (system), 1TB SSD (special for flight sim and stuff only), P3D v4.5 with custom setting ( almost all set to max right, AI traffic disabled ). get average fps 112.
solution I can give:
- reducing internal / cockpit texture, could improve FPS, with negative effect reduce detail of aircraft (blurry or unreadable decal/text).
- use SSD hard disk could improve FPS. I knew it not cheap solution and easy, as migrating file need time and effort.

from this link:
https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/N ... 582vsm7754
your VGA is not far from my laptop, my laptop VGA is slightly better.
so solution still same as previous post.
