Upgraded to P3D v4.4 Engine Start Toggle not working

Post by dwest185 » Sun Jan 06, 2019 7:39 am

Hello all,

I upgraded P3D to v4.4 today and for some reason when I try to start the F-4J, and the S variant, from cold and dark I click on the engine start toggle and it doesn't do anything. It won't move, won't click and of course I can't start the engines. I looked through the forums and found a post that may have been the same problem, dev posted a link for a download of a file to put in the gauges folder but the link is broken. Anyone have any ideas? Also, I have installed everything as administrator and run everything as administrator.

I will have to wait for Alvaro to confirm, but I don't think the S/J ADV has the start cartridge. Instead the GPU external air source needs to be used.

Correct. The J/S are not provided with cartridge hardware. Only the E is.

External GPU air must be used for the J/S start.

Okay guys, thanks for the replies. I had several issues with my computer over the weekend and I have them all sorted out now. I had to re-install P3D and once I did that all seems to work fine now.
