Trying to remember if we actually implemented the carrier auto land and can’t recall....might work only with TACPACK.

I believe it's modeled, but you need the TacPac, it's there though.....I don't have the TacPac for V4.....
How does the Auto Position Update work as well as the Auto Steer point sequence, what systems and/or buttons and switches need to be on or off to get the coupler to work
I've read the manual on the subject P.82, and P. 188 in the NATOPS.....it's a bit of a long read.....
And there isn't much in the MILVIZ manual at least not that I can find, and all the tutorials are on the E model which is basically the same, but not really
Any help here would be much appreciated
Thanks
Rick

Auto position update basically automatically keeps your nav computer from drifting. Auto Steerpoint sequence, I can't recall fully how it works, but I think you had to load a flight plan into the sim, and set the nav computer's mode knob to either target or base. One of the two. Its been ages.

I think you had to arm auto throttle (there is an MVAMS command for it), and there may be auto throttle switch on the left console that you have to click as well, and your HSI mode should be DL/ILS.

I've added a couple cockpit cameras ans a default gps
I don't suppose that might foul things up

I’ve nearly given up on this. I have one more thing to try, then its just going to be TACAN nav, which works fine. I’ll let you know if I have any success.

I read in another post that fsx uses degrees minutes seconds for Lat/Long, p3d uses decimal for Lat/Long
I'm tak'in a wild guess here but the F-4 might be confused, or it just doesn't register at all :)
I'm going to install it in fsx just to see

When I went to the EADV configuration menu to set the realism options hit apply down she went
I tried a couple times with the same result, but I had a flight plan loaded when I tried with no flight plan.it worked like a champ
still no joy on the coupler
