Flap Extension Issue

Flap Extension Issue

When I click on the flap lever it extends fully to the full down position. I have a key programmed to extend them incrementally but even if I use that they still travel through all stops to the down position. Am I missing something?

How is it programmed? In P3D options?

I have a key assigned to the command "extend flaps incrementally". I also have a Saitek MFD and a single press on the flap lever causes the flaps to travel to the full down position. Is there a way to extend them in th VC one notch at a time?
