starting the engine at high airfield elevation

Since I was stuck at elevation 6500ft, here is the procedure that worked for me:

Fuel selector: fullest tank
Mixture lever: 75%
Boost pump: ON
Operate primer as necessary
Throttle: Fully open
Magnetos: Both
Starter&coil: Engage
As engine starts and runs stable, move throttle to catch 800 rpm
Boost pump: OFF
Mixture lever: Full rich

Totally unsure if it is real or not, it just helps in this case.
