Speed markings question
Another observation I have made and would like your comment on.
I noticed that there is a discrepancy on markings on the ASI versus table in the manual.
Example land plane:
Vmo in manual is 143 mph, but marking red line at 158 and 165 mph.
Va in manual is 125 mph, but orange arc starts at 140 mph
Vfe in manual is 91 mph, but white arc starts at 83 mph
Just curious what is correct?

Re: Speed markings question
If I mistake not, the numbers in the manual are in Knots, while the ASI is in MPH. 158 mph does match to 143 kts.

Please make sure that you're using the latest version.
If you are, please show me a pic of the gauge.
Thanks.

Re: Speed markings question
I have used this installer
MV_DHC3_Turbo_v1.180807.exe
And that is how the ASI looks like

Re: Speed markings question
What you see is correct. We have had to fudge a bit because all of the docs on this plane type sau different things. Ignore the manual and look at the gauge.
I am usually a big RTFM person but on this one... don’t.

Re: Speed markings question
Thank you for the correction to the ASI gauge.
However, I noticed the original gauge still appears when the "instrument lights" are turned on for the Amphibian, Floats, and Ski's. The Wheel variant is fine.
Thinking the night textures may be the cause, i tried to fix by copying the "gauges" folder from the Wheel variant (...\SimObjects\Airplanes\DHC-3 Turbine Otter Milviz\NightLighting\Textures\Gauges) over to the Amphibian, Floats, and Ski's. This appears to correct the issue.
Is this ok? Or might it cause other problems?

Re: Speed markings question
There is an issue with the night lighting bitmaps that is among a number of fixes in progress , due for testing and release shortly.
