It should go into:
C:\Users\{your name}\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4

FSUIPC add some extra complexity to the problems of diagnosis - if you can temporarily disable it and then check what works and what doesn't, that will give us some clues as to what's going wrong.
Back home. I disabled FSUIPC and tried every combination of controllers enabled, disabled in P3D; with and without enabling controllers.xml and I tried Engine1 Throttle and Throttle axes. Nothing. The only movement at all is the aileron, elevator and mixture when the P3D controllers are enabled. Throttle, Prop and rudders remain totally unresponsive.

Do you have the latest patch for P3DV4.5? Also, Do you have any other controllers plugged into your computer?

You mention the Throttle quadrant, you mean you have a total of six levers, right? (3 that come with the yoke and 3 that you bought separate as the throttle quadrant)

I am not the authority but its got the look of a permissions issue and or the addon and addon.xml folders are set up on subdrives , is this the case ?

Yes, latest P3Dv4.5HF. No other controllers except the Saitek rudder pedals.

No just 3 levers. I have the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke (pre-Logitech) and the throttle (3 lever) that plugs into the yoke using the PS/2 connector.

I run P3D and evrything associated with it as admin. How would I determine if there is a permission issue? I don't get any error msgs at all.

The default add-on folder is in the user documents folder. I don't see any add-on.xml associated with the Turbo Otter... All of the folders are installed in the main P3D\SimObjects folder. What should I be looking for? The airplane loads just fine, but the throttle & rudders don't move at all.

Could you please copy the path* to the DHC-3T in windows explorer and post it here?

*(navigate to DHC-3T addon folder. then right click in location bar and select 'copy address as text')

So, in my FSUIPC I have the left lever to send to FS as normal axis and is set to Axis Throttle1 Set
Middle is also Send to FS as Normal Axis, Axis Propeller1 Set
Right is Send to FS as normal Axis and Axis Mixture1 Set

Are you running Windows 10 64 or 32?
In the P3D Root Folder, do you have XMLTools64.dll or just XMLTools.dll?

Did you try to re-install XMLTools from

C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\DHC-3 Turbine Otter Milviz\panel

Also, How is your P3D Install path in your registry?

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\LockheedMartin\Prepar3D v4]
"License"="Academic"
"SetupPath"="E:\\Prepar3D v4\\"

Finally, What is your P3D Client version?

Lastly... Dumb question but have to ask,

If starting cold and dark, are you removing the Chocks and reds?

I do not have a DHC-3T addon folder anywhere. Just the DHC-3... folders in the SimObjects folder.

Yes this is how I have them set up. Prop and mixture work fine. Throttle won't budge.

Are you running Windows 10 64 or 32? Win10 64

Yes, but I keep getting the error https://www.dropbox.com/s/kh3w14qy047ar ... s.JPG?dl=0

Also, How is your P3D Install path in your registry?

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\LockheedMartin\Prepar3D v4]
"License"="Academic" --- No entry like this
"SetupPath"="E:\\Prepar3D v4\\" ------ Entry indicates proper path E:\MyP3D

Finally, What is your P3D Client version? 4.5.12.30293

SUCCESS!

@Raptor, THANK YOU!!! Something you said caused me to look at the DLL.xml file in appdata after I tried to reinstall and got the error message. The Dll.xml file entry called out the XMLTools.xml file not the XMLTools64.xml version. After I manually edited it to "64" all is well! I even got auto start to work.

Do you use the controllers.xml file enabled in the DH3 folder in panel?

Thanks again!
@doodlebug Thanks also for your support!

Hi

I have a similar problem, but the installation was correct, without errors. I followed all the instructions on the support page.

I am unable to move the throttle and prop levers. Only the mixture responds.

With the F4 key the throttle moves, but not with the Saitek controls.

I also tried creating a profile with FSUIPC, but they don't work either.

Thanks in advance.
