In the manual there is a claim on “advanced icing operation” and I can move the switch. Don’t know what would be the specifics on an Otter, but to my understanding, if it is bleed air through the leading edge of surfaces, it should drop TQ and needs to be compensated with PL more forward. Or is it electrical, but I see no tapes on the wings leading surface. Maybe you can share the functionality you programmed?

Hi,

There are no leading edge deice boots in wings. "Ice Door" lever actually moves the engine's ice vane into open/closed position.
Closing the ice vane does reduce torque and increase ITT a bit.
Icing simulation includes blocked Pitot tube (affecting airspeed), blocked static ports (affecting vs and altitude), and iced airframe, reducing aircraft performance and eventually leading to a stall.

Thank you. Does this allow an Otter to fly in weather with icing conditions?

No. Flight into known icing conditions is prohibited (as stated in the POH)
