RXP GNS
Hi,
First of all thank you for this beautiful aircraft!
When I select the RXP GNS 530/430 navigation option, I get a problem in the VC:

Do you own the RXP GNS gauges? Is your avionics switch on?

Re: RXP GNS
I think ificratis is referring to the RXP gauges 530 & 430 overlapping. I had this also. What I did was open up the console_RXP_GNS530_430_wx.xml file and add x2 to the following line below: This will correctly place the 430 below the 530. (note this is with the Reality GNS 530/430 with the WX radar setup in the Milviz MAMS).
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Gauge Name="console_mv_530_430_wx" Version="1.0">
<Element>
<Select>
<Value>
(L:Init,bool) !
if{
1 (>L:MV_AudioPanel,bool)
1 (>L:RXP_GNS530,bool)
1 (>L:RXP_GNS430x2,bool)
1 (>L:MV_KAP140,bool)
1 (>L:MV_GTX330,bool)
1 (>L:MV_ADF,bool)
1 (>L:MV_WX,bool)
5 (>L:KAP140_GTX330_Move,bool)
1 (>L:Init,bool) }
</Value>
</Select>
</Element>
</Gauge>
If you select the Reality GNS 530/430 without the WX radar the console_RXP_GNS530_430.xml file was correct, (VC gauge arrangement).
The other issue with the Reality GNS setup is the 430 does not show (turned off). With or without the WX radar. However the 430 popup is on just not the VC 430.
A workaround is select the Milviz GNS 530/430 in MAMS with the WX radar or no radar. Then use the Reality XP panel assistant to replace the gauges with the RealityXP units. See image below.

Re: RXP GNS
Thank you very much Bill. That's exactly the problem I have. So, I guess its something the developer needs to fix. I'll use your workaround for now, seems a nice solution. Thanks again!

Re: RXP GNS
I tried the last suggestion Bill, but it seems I am unable to use the GNS430 buttons.
The developer needs to address that. I would like to have the developer's view on this problem..
Maybe N4GIX or doodlebug can comment?

Re: RXP GNS
The buttons on the VC 430 don't work for me either. They work for the VC 530 thou.

Unfortunately UseLegacyVars = true didn't work.

Re: RXP GNS
There were some outstanding issues with the RXP GNS configs that I saw in beta.... I believe they were going to work on a SP.
To get the clickspots working try opening the 2D popup for each 530 and 430 ( and the easiest way to get the RXP GUI is to right click on the top bezel of the popup)
That will open the RXP GUI and then make sure something like "use flightsim GPS commands" is set. I can't remember the exact value from memory.
EDIT: If that doesn't work or you have trouble getting the popup opened....go to your RealityXP.GNS.ini file and you need to add this line:
UseSimGpsCmds = true
You'll have to add it to the [GNS_430_1] (or 530_2 or whatever you have)

Thanks for the reply ryan.
I have set this command to true for both the 530 and 430 however only the 530 clickspots work for me. Maybe you could share your RealityXP.ini file?

I have mine setup with RXP GTN at the moment.
Could you attach your gns ini file or show the contents of it?

Re: RXP GNS
Hello, Ryan I haven't seen your previous message before, I attach the RealityXP.GNS.ini file.
I installed the latest update today, but still this is unresolved
Here is what I see when I select the RXP 530/430 combo:
Can the developers look at it? It's been a long time now since release and this is broken still.
