Throttle lever on my TQ6 from Virtual fly

Post by brianos007 » Mon Aug 26, 2019 11:29 pm

I have a problem i can not configure my Prop lever the proper way via FCUIPC .
The throttle and the mixture were no problem to configure and working fine but the prop lever is a nightmare.
Is there a special way to do this help please.

Thanks in advance

Did you work it out by any chance?

I have the TQ6+ and would like to know if there is any trick to configuring it...

I have also a TQ6 and i only get a few cm of travel in the prop lever .
The rest is working fine i am using FCUIPC5 .Throttle and mixture are perfect calibrated
For me the little travel is enof i have read on the forum here that the prop must be at 2000 rpm.
And the little travel is ok you get 2000rpm the needle stops right at the green marker =2000rpm

So if i fly the PC6 set the prop lever half way and never touch it when flying and landing and you will have your 2000rpm.

Here on the forum its well explained by a tech guy just use the search for prop lever problems and you will find it.
After reading it i now how the prop lever react in flight 2000rpm and thats it

Lets hope it helped and a explained well

Here you go i found it ,this is not my writing but from a tech guy on this forum this helped me with my problem.

I think you didn't understand my post.
What you did and show in your last pic is WRONG. You must not configure the prop lever to go beyond the "middle" point located right after the amber band ends. Doing that will result in unstable RPM, as you already noticed.

That "middle" point commands 2000 RPM, which is the max value to obtain. This aircraft is recommended to be flown at a constant 2000 RPM; it can be with lower -1900, 1800, but that would be in the amber line.
AFAIK in the real Porter, the back rod attached to the prop lever is regulated to prevent the lever go beyond the "middle" point.
