A couple of questions

Hello,

First off, I'm enjoying the PC-6 very much. But I have a couple of questions. I did RTFM but I couldn't find the answers there for the following.

First is the prop. Does the aircraft always fly at 1900 rpm? Because anytime I try to move it in flight the prop seems to feather and the torque goes thru the roof, (well past the red line 57ish ft/lbs).

Second is the safety latch on the condition lever. I cant seem to unlock it to shut down the engine. I know the manual says to bring the condition lever so it's almost off then click on the latch to unlock it. But clicking on it doesn't do anything. I can't turn off the engine, and cold and dark starts with the condition lever at high idle so I cant bring it back down before starting the engine too.

Last is with the Flight1 GTN 750/650 option. I cant interact with the 750 in the VC. I can interact with the 650 in the VC.

Thank you again for bringing this plane to FSX:SE. Right I'm using FSX:SE.

I’ve come across the GTN750 issue in other (non Milviz) aircraft where interaction could be restored by deactivating instrument reflections in the VC. However if this was the cause in the PC-6 then I guess the GTN650 would have the same problem which clearly is not the case as it appears fully clickable in the VC.

An excellent simulation of this great STOL aircraft however!

Hi,

About the safety latch on the condition lever. I've got the same issue... but could solve it as follow (hopefully you have FSUIPC payware version).

Create a file named i.e PC6.mcro. Open it with notepad and copy this :

[Macros]
1=L:PC6_CondLeverLatch=tog

Save and close. Put it in the module folder of FSX. Then add a joystick button or keyboard shortcut using this macro...

The latch will then move!

Cheers

Daniel

I named it xxx.lua, did not work. As xxx.txt FSUIPC did not find it.

He said use the .mcro (macro) extension, not sure if that is your problem.

Yes, I did but either way nothing happens.
