Still No Taxi or Landing Lights

Since my post from almost two months ago is still unanswered I am creating a new post.

I want to say landing lights are still not fixed in the latest release. I finally decided to try a night flight NO CHANGE.

I have removed any/ all shader enhancements, reinstalled P3Dv5.1wHF, tried with and without EA and HDR. It looks NOTHING LIKE the post by N4GIX on Mar 29.

I believe I may have found the issue for me - a conflict with AI Lights Reborn Pro and "Use FSReborn Landing Lights instead of P3D default". That setting does not change the default fx_landing.fx file but does add another version with same name via the xml / addon method.

If I deactivate that setting my lights are similar to what was shown by N4GIX in the first thread , though rather dim in my case.

Thanks for the resolution. Stuff like this is so hard to nail down.

I would ask you consider "tilting them up" if you ever do another service pack. The TAXI light is tilted way down - at 20' to 50' AGL it lights up fine, but not near as well on the ground where it is normally used. For me on the ground it is still barely noticeable.

The landing lights I understand to a degree, still think the tilt down is a bit excessive.

I agree but I'm not sure if/when there will be another patch.
