Air brake indicator? Is there one?

First off. What an amazing plane.
Ok my question is. Is there some kind of indication that the air-brake is deployed other than having to exit the plane and look? I have searched for this answer but haven't been able to find any info. Should I just set my controls to incrementally add and detract the air brake then just keep detracting before flight?

There should be a noticeable change in audio (more rumbling in level flight) with them deployed compared to retracted.

Thanks once more Jonathan. The problem I have is when it's time for takeoff I don't know if the airbrake is in the down position. I have since set 2 keys on my joystick to 1 down and 1 up. I now just hold my airbrake in the up position until I think it's all the way up, then I take off. Seems to work for me. Just surprised the is no indication for it in the cockpit.

Well the real jet has a switch on the throttle that can be stowed in the retract position and therefore you would be certain it is retracted. That's why I added those controls in the MVAMS .

Only the T-38C got a speedbrake indicator on the giant MFD.
