non working controls after installation

Post by Rolf-B » Thu Feb 06, 2020 10:31 am

Additional Information:
I bought this program at ORBX. There were no hints about requirements during the Installation process. Installation runs automatic.
Controller issue: I have a VKB Gladiator individually programmed by me. All is running well and so I´m not willing to change anything in favor of one product, that does not function.

Are you able to click the switches etc and do they move? Does the 2D Shift+1 popup config menu show?

Hi Jonathan,
whe I wrote "controls not working" I meant the elevators and the ailerons. The rudder was functioning! Meanwhile I found, that they only will be active, when the engine is started with external power. So far this seems to be my mistake. Yes I´m able to click the switches and they do move. But I have not tested them all. No, the 2D Shift+1 popup does not appear. Instead there is a message " No Panel is mapped to the Panel 1 key combination (Shift+1)"

Thanks für your patience

Rolf

My bad, the panel is Shift 2. Yes the ailerons and elevators will not function without hydraulic pressure. The rudder is controlled with cables, and so is independent of engine power.
