Hi guys,

Im sure I have done something wrong... hoping you can help.

I had F86 tacpack edition working fine in FSX. However a few months ago I upgraded to P3D. Now running latest P3D 3.4.9. I didnt immediately buy the latest P3D Tacpack because Im cheap... finally sprung the money tonight

In P3D I had been flying the NON tacpack F-86. Now wanting to use my tacpack version of the F-86, I removed my non TP verison of the F-86 and installed the TP version I had using the installer and choosing P3D as the sim option.

Installs fine, but the configuration manager is black and says something about Data cleared? (as a question.) How do I get this working correctly?

Do you have Tacpack installed for P3D?

Yes. I do.

its the pop up window in the Milviz F-86 to allow engine start cart activation, etc, that is black. Not anything to do with tacpack itself as far as I can tell. Sorry for not being more clear!

You are running your P3D as admin? As in right click, select properties->Compatibility->Run this program as administrator?

Guys, Im sure VRS Tacpack is installed properly. It works just fine with the milviz F-100 which I also own. However the popup configuration manager of the Milviz tacpack version of the F-86 comes up black.

Didn't ask about TACPACK. I asked about P3D. Although....I forgot there are 2 ACMs in the TP F-86. Which one is uncooperative?

Shift+2 Aircraft Configuration Menu comes up black.

Please confirm the above.

Also, try moving your mouse around the ACM till you find a clickspot where the cursor changes. Then click and see if the image appears.

I am running P3D as admin. I tried clicking in highlighted spots but nothing happens. Still a black rectangle of same dimension as the configuration dialog box, but all it says is "Clear Data?" if I click on the "Clear Data?" link it comes back with "Data Cleared". and thats it.

I did go into the F-86 panel.TP folder and found the bitmaps for the configuration menu, but they are not displaying. the F86_ACM.dll is also in the panel folder.

Did you update the dlls in this post?

Hi. I managed to fix this. I had conflicting dll files in my gauge directory that I believe were legacy from the non TP F-86. I deleted these and now everything works using the correct dll files which are in the TP panel directory.
