So weird. Jon is asleep... I'm hoping he will figure it out but...

Did you assign an axis for the gunsight range in the AMS?

No I did not do that! But now that it is 1:37AM I guess I just have to give it a try! Thanks!

Re: Elevator control stopped working after updates
The reason I asked about that was I was suspecting a possible masking of the elevator input by our gunsight control system.

Re: Elevator control stopped working after updates
OK, I set the gunsight range as axis Y with the Hat switch, the highest black color pickle switch on the stick. That is the movement downward, saved it, got into FSXSE, started the engine, used the trim for takeoff setting, saw the light come on and the stick moved back for that like it should but then still had no control / animation for forward or aft of the stick or external view on the elevator. The trim control assigned to a switch on the throttle does show animation on the horizontal stabilizer very clearly working up and down.

Try unzipping this into your panel folder and tell me if it puts out the green text bar.

Re: Elevator control stopped working after updates
No green text again after unzipping to the panel folder however, this seems new to me for sure! With engine running in non-TP the sight range dial moves almost full one side to the other side range with the actual Saitek control stick going forward and aft. No animated movement of the control stick or aircraft external view elevator. See attachment. Will check the TP version now also. Just checked, same as above with the TP version.

More details, The throttle trim switch K1 and K2 is for sure moving the stick and elevator animation now. The top hat on the stick H1 and H2 has the Y Axis assignment in the MVAMS.

Ok delete the axis command for the gunsight and then go into your MVAMS location\Configurations and open the F86F.ini to make sure there is no control on the gun_range entry.

Re: Elevator control stopped working after updates
Big News! I cleared all of the keyboard assignments and the Y axis. The green text shows up working with the control stick and the stick / elevators are working again with engine running.

That was it. Next time you make an assignment, make sure it doesn't assign your joystick's Y axis.

Re: Elevator control stopped working after updates
Thank you for all the help, uninstalled everything, fresh install with latest versions of both. Left gun range axis not assigned. Test flew both, appears to be working fine, great aircraft to fly in fsxse, no question about it. Best Regards!
