Paint kit layout
Hi.
Tfleck has graciously taken the time (and effort) to create a layout of all the necessary parts for doing a repaint on the 737's fuselage. (the wings are pretty obvious).
the file is here: http://www.milviz.com/filesfordownload/ ... mplate.zip

They are located on the 737_4.psd just to the right of the rudders towards the bottom of the rudders, and the left side of the rudders near the top:Martyson wrote:Just wondering, did you ever locate those little "white bits" on the top surface of the wing on both sides of the engine pylon?

Re: Paint kit layout
Can someone kindly explain how to use this template along with the paint kit? I'm going to take a stab at doing a Southwest livery. Wish me luck.... I need it.

Re: Paint kit layout
This is how I work with it...
Duplicate the Key Layer.
Using the duplicated layer, paint the whole plane (Fuse lines, Tail, etc)
Make a copy of each item in the "Key" layer for each of the items in the "Parts" group.
Select each painted element and copy them to the 737_X.psd files.
Rotate and move as needed. DONOT resize or scale. All elements fit nicely.
In my experience, I have only played with 737_ 1 to 5 and 10 for the details. 6 to 9 are wings and engines and only needed if your painting those
Hope this helps
