Thanks for doing this, Colin. So disappointing that the normal repainters haven't gone to work on this one, 'tis a pity. These all look great and were good choices.

Colin,
The installer did not update the aircraft.cfg. Did put the texture folders in. Don't know if it was intended this way, but if so, it sure would be easier to have a readme with the cfg details instead of having in hunt them down individually in the texture folders.

The paints look great.

We are rather leary of messing with users' aircraft cfgs with an installer...

I missed the aircraft.cfg add-ons in the texture folder too - I'd added a couple manually before I read the post above. I do have a query on the CP Air - I thought the arrow on the tail should be coloured red? Also my CP Air fuselage underside appears light blue where I assume it should be silver/chrome? Can someone have a check of it please?
Thank you,
Gary

No quarrel with that at all, Jonathan. It's just that you run the installer, start FSX, see that the repaints don't show up, start looking for a text file, install one or two making up the entries, and finally look in each texture folder and find the cfg entries. If a simple text file with all of the cfg entries was installed into the aircraft folder, maybe at least some people would read it and not have to go through the above. I realize nobody reads the readme's, though.JonathanBleeker wrote:We are rather leary of messing with users' aircraft cfgs with an installer...

Steve, on the main aircraft installer, I even programmed it to pop up an HTML page in the browser with HUGE red letters stating YOU MUST READ THIS! and even launched the Menu Manger at the same time...
Care to guess how many people paid attention to either one?
I suppose I could do something similar with the Livery Pack with about as much success...

Yeah, I know, Bill. Gotta be so darn frustrating.
Some of us do read though--we really do!
cheers,
steve

Hello,
glad to see the set#1 release but unfortunately for me i'm not interested in any liveries included, so my 732 is grounded in the hangar
Cheers.

Any chance of some EU liveries such as British Airways or Ryanair?

How about a set of actual current operators?

You are correct Gary, the Multimark arrow is suppose to be the same red as the band around the top of the fuselage. The fuselage is normally polished metal, but was also matt depending on the tarnish. The underside of the fuselage should the be a gull grey, the same grey that is on the engines. The current colour has too much of a blue tinge to it.ggi wrote:I missed the aircraft.cfg add-ons in the texture folder too - I'd added a couple manually before I read the post above. I've also noticed all the repaints are missing the stabulator trim slot that is just forward of the stabulator pivot point. It looks very strange to have it missing.
Here's a screenshot of the livery that a gentleman created and it is very accurate in colour. (Note: this is not the Milvis aircraft and is not intended to promote other vendors. It is for example purposes only. The Milvis version in my belief has superior FDE, FMS, VC night lighting, and is supported in P3D.)

Cheers,
Thad
