WX advantage in v4.4

Post by doodlebug » Sat Dec 08, 2018 5:19 pm

Until we update the wx to v4.4, none of our aircraft that use the wx will function, unless the wx has been disabled

Ooooo! I just ran the updater and it installed a new one! I don't see release notes in it, but theres a modules\P3D44 folder with the MV_WXM.dll in it...

WILL BE ALSO ON P3D ?

This is expressly for updating the included wx so that it functions in Prepar3D version v4.4

I have version 4.1 and I cannot open the WX weather unit in my DH2. It shows a blank/dark Bendix panel where the REX WX panel should be. Am I missing something?

v4.1 is kinda out of date...we can't support that anymore.

So I guess its upgrade to 4.4 with all the re-install hassle or forget about using REX WX advantage on MIlviz aircraft.

If you have updated to the latest versions of our aircraft or used the updated too, then yes.

Upgrading v4.4 isn't really that much of a hassle. I just uninstall the client and content one by one and reinstall, and it doesn't touch my addons.

Thanks guys. Have latest versions on both Milviz so no WX. Just installed 4.4 and your are correct Jonathon, no big deal. Just had to update a few add-ons and so far it looks good.

The link is in the support forum for each aircraft that requires it.
The patch is now bundled with your installer. If you bought directly from us you can use your original sendowl download link.

Ok question then. I also have the Flysimware Falcon, which supports the MV Wx radar. It doesn't seem to work in that jet. Confirm that installing the radar for, say, the C310 Redux, would also install it for any other plane which supports it?
