Wrong QNH

Post by cuevision » Sun Aug 21, 2016 2:48 pm

Hello to you.

I am using the B407 with fun. However I am strugglin with the QNH. That means the B407 is giving the wrong QNH. When I change it with e.g. the Cessna 182 of A2A, the read out of the QNH is oke.

As an example, I am at NZQN airport.
Correct: At the moment the local QNH is 1011 millibar / 29.86 inches of mercury. The airport elevation is 1170FT
Wrong: 1021Mb / 3030. In this case the reading on the B407 altimeter.

Can anyone tell me what might going wrong please. How to solve?

I am using P3D v3.3

Thanks and regards,
Ed

Hi,

The same is with me, I have posted this problem earlier in this forum but got a reply from the devs that it is OK.
When you set the actual QNH you have to read the airport ELEV (AMSL) on the altimeter - which is simply not the case with Milviz.

Cheers,

Hi Tamas,

If I am not the only one, there musr be something wrong indeed. So I hope any of the technicians will have a look again and please reply to this.

Thanks and regards,
Ed

Hello , testing this its seen to be in error , an overhaul is due to update the WX and GNS units and I will put this in the list to be fixed at the same time .
Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
