Avionics switch off after about 2 minutes

Post by cuevision » Thu Jun 23, 2016 7:47 pm

Hello to you all,

I am trying to work with this model for some days now. I have to say a nice model, but every time I think I figured it out, there is a new issue. Like now.

Can somebody tell me how to solve this, or what I have done wrong.

When I succeed to start it up and I have switched the Avionics on, I can have a flight. These Avionics are important, no discussions ;-) But after about two minutes the avionics are switched off automatically. All gauges and my Garmin GTN750 are 'dead', although the avionics switch is still on the 'on' position.

Looking forward to solution.

Thanks and regards,
Ed

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for your fast reply! Appreciate it.

All sw are on. Have a look at its state on the attached images. After 2 or 3 minutes all avionics are switching to off.

Thanks,
Ed

You aren't redlining the engine I hope.

The battery lasts two minutes. If you've not gotten the engine on and the generator running in that time, you're out of luck.

Thank you for thinking with me.

No! I am flying Heli for a long time and have never faced this strange behaviour. Just nicely spool up the engine. And whether I am on the ground or flying around, about two or three minutes, all lights of the avionics are become dead.

The battery lasts two minutes. If you've not gotten the engine on and the generator running in that time, you're out of luck.

ALso this is not the issue. I switch on Avionics after engines are stable and all gauges read the correct measurements.

This is just terrible. It seems no one has experienced this issue. I have reinstalled it several times but this remains a problem.

Again thanks and regards,
Ed

I haven't had that trouble with Milviz but I had the same problem with the AW 109 where the avionics shut off after a few minutes. I worked around that by loading the default plane first(172), turn on the battery and avionics switch there then select the AW 109. Had no further problems after doing that. It may not help with the milviz but it's worth a shot.
