Possibility of more varients/options?

I have a question though, what is the possibility of different variations of the DHC3? By this i'm talking about different engine options, long range tanks etc, I ask because i was recently made aware of the DHC-3T equipped with a TPE-331 900shp turbine from honeywell, this version has a lot higher performance currently then the PT6 equipped otter and i am curious as to the possibilty of adding this to expand the mission capabilty of the aircraft, same goes for the fuel tanks.</t>
