Re: Interior Lights
Hi, here attached the dll files youe were asking for. But in ev'ry case I didn't see the Migration Tool aopening. There are other entries that might be suspect, but I don't dare to delete them. Or at least I might delete them and after that be recraeted by the system, such as scnery.cfg?

Re: Interior Lights
Hi
As you say the DLL.xml file does not seem to have the Migration Tool entries in it, so that rules out my theory as to why you have no night lighting
in the Talon, and all the other entries seem to be OK as far as I can see, I think this is one for MilViz to work on as I have run out of ideas as to why
you are having the issue, sorry about that but we tried.
I will keep following this one though as I would really like to know what it was and I suppose you would like to know more than I do.
Good luck on the issue and I am sure you will get this resolved by the MilViz wizards.

Re: Interior Lights
I'm starting to think this is another missing libraries issue....Do me a favour and go to your Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Event Viewer-Windows logs->Application right after running the T-38 and see if there are any error reports about the MV_NL.exe.

Hi,
attached just 2 of the errors found in the log. One is referred to the Phantom (that actually is working fine), the other one is more interesting for you, I guess. There's a long, long list to scroll. I'0m going on in searching, but look at this, gor the moment.

Hi Jonathan,
just an updatre. after installed P3D v3.1, I un-installed and re-installed the T-38 just to follow the attmpt of another customer (mr Cuco, in another post); unfortunately, to no avail. So, let's wait for some (good and imminent) news.

Re: Interior Lights
Ok finally got a chance to do some hands on testing....Please put this in your Milviz Phantom\texture folder overwriting the one that is there. Then right click on it, select properties, and click the Unblock button, and also go to Compatibility settings and select Run this program as admin. Then run the sim. If the NL fails, get the Windows log error report and post here please.

Re: Interior Lights
Hi Jonathan,
thanks for your answer, but my issue is with the T-38, possibily the MV_NL.exe file. The MV_F4_NL.exe in my Phantoms interior lights are working properly. Or is this en experiment?
Regards,
Fulvio

Re: Interior Lights
If the Phantom's lights are working correctly then ignore. Will see if I can get a test made with the T-38 NL

Re: Interior Lights
Just an addendum; even if I can't fly witht he Phantoms, being my P3D v3.1 - and waiting for a next release of an updating -, from the Task manager you can see that the MV_F4_NL is wotking properly. More, in the .exe file I gave ALL the permissions but it doesn't run as Administrator. Nonetheless it's working correctly.farman wrote:Fine, Jonathan.
Parhaps this has nothing to do with the T-38; take it as a further updating.

Re: Interior Lights
I am having the same issues. The .exe is showing in the task manager. I have everything set to Admin Prev. This is happening to 3 Milviz aircraft. (F4, T-38ADV, MD530)in P3Dv3.1.
Otherwise love the work that you guys did....Outstanding!!!

Re: Interior Lights
The F-4's won't even work in P3D 3.1 so it's no suprise. The MD530 should, in theory work as should the T-38ADV. This isn't the ADV support forum btw...

Re: Interior Lights
Since the exe is showing in the task manager, are you running the Estonia migration tool? It interferes with the lighting operation by creating a fake FSX.exe.
